DVB-based polymers are also used in chromatography columns for separation and purification processes due to their uniform pore structure and chemical inertness.

Furthermore, divinylbenzene plays a crucial role in the development of high-performance materials used in coatings, adhesives, and composites. Its ability to improve cross-link density results in enhanced mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and chemical durability.
